Jeff Birch is our Senior Pastor and came to us in 2021. Married to his lovely wife, Evie, for 35 years, they have one adult son whom they love to visit. Originally from Brooklyn and a graduate of Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, Jeff has pastored churches in Philadelphia, Oklahoma City, and central Florida. Mike Palombo is our Assistant Pastor and was born and raised in Alpharetta, GA. He served on staff with Campus Outreach at Georgia College for four years, where he developed a passion for discipleship and a love for his wife, Whitney Palombo. After receiving his Mdiv from Covenant Seminary in 2016, he served as Pastor of Relational Discipleship at Rivermont EPC for six years. Mike and Whitney have the joy of discipling their only daughter, Ellie, while also singing songs, going on daddy-daughter dog walks, and building forts in the playroom. When he is not reading on discipleship and creating discipleship tools, Mike also enjoys playing bass guitar, hiking, and drinking a warm cup of coffee on his front porch. Travis Skillingstad is our Youth Director and is originally from Minnesota but moved to Atlanta, GA, in middle school. After a serious football injury in college, he began investigating Christianity and met Jesus through his friends. After graduation, he worked for Campus Outreach in Augusta, GA, for seven years while also pursuing his seminary degree with RTS Atlanta. He lives in Eatonton, GA, with his wife and daughter. Ellen Skillingstad is our Children's Director and lives in Eatonton, GA, with her husband and daughter. Originally from Charleston, SC, she understood the gospel through the faithful influence of her parents and first trusted in Jesus at the age of ten. After she graduated from the University of South Carolina, she worked for Campus Outreach in Augusta, GA, for six years. Yvonne Beasley is our Office Administrator. Yvonne has served LOPC for 18 years and loves calling Greensboro home. She and her husband, Adrian, have two daughters. In her free time, Yvonne loves spending time with her family and two young granddaughters.
