Short Term Mission Trip to Guizhou, China
On October 6-16, 2016 a mission team from LOPC traveled to an orphanage in Guizhou, China.
China is a country rich in culture and beauty, but there are currently close to 1 million orphans. The purpose of this trip was to update files of older and special needs children who have fallen through the cracks in the Chinese system. Their medical information needed to be current, along with their photos and videos, so they can have a better chance at finding forever homes. In many respects the work is still going on as adoption files for the orphans our team worked with are created and updated so that families looking to adopt from China will have a clear picture of each child's "story."
• Pray that God would raise up families to adopt these orphans.
• Pray for the relationships that are being established with Orphanages and their leaders in China.
• Give praise for our team and their willingness to go and to help tell the Stories of these children.
• Give praise for the amazing support YOUR Church has given to this team to help Orphans find homes.
The stories aren't over! Now we get to hear about the "Matches" that take place between these Orphans their forever families.
