The purpose of our Adult Learning Communities is to assist our congregation in their spiritual walk through systematic bible study, both from the bible and through the study of books by respected Christian authors.
Classes are held each Sunday morning at LOPC at 9:30 a.m.
the book of judges
The book of Judges depicts the period of leadership following that of Moses and Joshua and prior to that of King David. The period of the Judges was a very difficult time for the Israelites due to the absence of a godly King when "...everyone did as he saw fit" (Judges 21:25).
There are many parallels between that time and ours today. So come join us as we explore the problems of living in a spiritually pluralistic society.

Truths we confess
Have you ever wondered about how the Bible came into being? What really is the Trinity? What is the church? How can I be accepted and adopted by God? What is predestination? Plan to join us at 9:30 a.m. in room 103 as we study “Truths We Confess”. This study will be a summary of the Westminster Confession of Faith led by Dr. Joe King and David Toller. Bring your bible and plan to join us!
