Concert of Prayer Miscellaneous Every Sunday 9:00am — 9:15am This is a prayer meeting each Sunday morning to pray for the day's service and the ministries of the church. It is open to anyone who would like to attend. Adult Learning Communities Christian Ed. Every Sunday 9:30am — 10:15am The purpose of our Adult Learning Communities is to assist our congregation in their spiritual walk through systematic bible study, both from the bible and through the study of books by respected Christian authors. Any adult may attend any class. Each class is designed to include a short time of fellowship. Sunday School Children, Christian Ed. Every Sunday 9:30am — 9:15am Sunday School is for children ages two to twelfth grade, and begins at 9:30 am. We use the "Show Me Jesus" curriculum by Great Commission Publications, the publishing arm of the PCA. Our goal for this ministry is to partner with the training up of children, and our curriculum helps us do that by providing a take home page for each child each week. That page includes the story, memory verse, catechism question, and follow-up material for the week's lesson. Morning Worship Celebration Worship Every Sunday 10:30am — 11:45am Our time of Christ-centered, corporate worship each and every Lord's Day at LOPC. The Sacrament of the Lord Communion 09/05/10 Our church will observe the Lord's Supper during the Morning Worship Celebration. Please prepare your heart for this important sacrament. TRiBE Youth Group Youth Every Sunday 5:15pm — 7:30pm (08/15/10 — 12/26/10) Middle School students meet at 5:15 til 6:30 in room 106 and High School students meet at 6:00 til 7:30 in in Room 112 to worship and fellowship. |

Early Morning Ladies Bible Studies Every Tuesday 7:30am — 9:00am This study, led by Karen Hildebrand and Jan Murray, meets in various locations in the lake community every Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. for deep study in the word, discussion, and prayer. Handbell Practice Miscellaneous Every Wednesday 9:30am — 11:00am GA War Veterans Milledgeville Miscellaneous 09/08/10 12:00pm — 4:00pm Lake Oconee sponsors Bingo at the Georgia War Veterans Home in Milledgeville on the second Wednesday of each month. A group of volunteers, both men and women leave the church at 12:00 and return around 4:00. We also have volunteers who bake cookies to serve as refreshments and others who donate money to be used for prizes. Our purpose is to reach out to veterans and provide them with fun, recreation, and refreshments. This gives us an opportunity to show our appreciation for the dedication ... Session Meeting Miscellaneous 09/08/10 1:00pm — 5:00pm Home Fellowship Group-Reynolds I HFG Every second Wednesday of the month 7:00pm — 8:30pm This group is led by Carl Freeman, and meets at the home of Tom and Becky Branan (1040 Stocks Lane, Greensboro). Community Bible Study Church Use for Outside Events Every Thursday 9:30am — 12:00pm (09/02/10 — 12/09/10) The Community Bible Study is a nationwide interdenominational Bible study that is being hosted by our church for the Lake Oconee Area. The bible study meets each Thursday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. (Nursery is provided). Pam Gable has a program of music, crafts and Bible stories for pre-school children and Miriam Merritt will lovingly care for babies. This is a wonderful way for mothers and grandmothers to bring little ones to Bible study with them. It is important for us to receive ... Fridays with the Father Bible Studies Every Friday 8:00am — 9:00am This study begins at 8:00 a.m. each Friday morning in Room 108, and is facilitated by Dr. Joe King. It is designed for men who desire to know more about Christianity or who want to grow in their Christian faith. All men are welcome to attend. You will need to bring a Bible.
