Concert of Prayer Miscellaneous Every Sunday 9:00am — Every Sunday 9:15am (02/26/12 — 04/08/12) This is a prayer meeting each Sunday morning to pray for the day's service and the ministries of the church. It is open to anyone who would like to attend. Adult Learning Communities Christian Ed. Every Sunday 9:30am — Every Sunday 10:15am (02/26/12 — 04/08/12) The purpose of our Adult Learning Communities is to assist our congregation in their spiritual walk through systematic bible study, both from the bible and through the study of books by respected Christian authors. Any adult may attend any class. Each class is designed to include a short time of fellowship. Sunday School Children Every Sunday 9:30am — Every Sunday 10:15am (02/26/12 — 04/08/12) Sunday School is for children ages two to twelfth grade, and begins at 9:30 am. We use the "Show Me Jesus" curriculum by Great Commission Publications, the publishing arm of the PCA. Our goal for this ministry is to partner with the training up of children, and our curriculum helps us do that by providing a take home page for each child each week. That page includes the story, memory verse, catechism question, and follow-up material for the week's lesson. Compassionate Care/HELP Ministry Miscellaneous 03/12/12 6:00pm — 8:00pm A compassionate care group to assist, with God's grace, people who are suffering and grieving the death of a spouse, child, parent, or other loved one will meet on the second Monday of each month and is open to the community. A group of volunteers, both men and women leave the church at 12:30 and return around 4:00. We also have volunteers who bake cookies to serve as refreshments and others who donate money to be used for prizes. Ladies' Prayer Felloswhip Miscellaneous Every third Monday of the month 12:00pm — Every 16th day of the mon h 1:00pm LOPC women are invited to meet together the third Monday of each for a time of prayer. Our purpose is to pray God's Word; to use Scripture to pray for the Kingdom of God on Earth and the Body of Christ. Praying aloud is not required.
