Concert of Prayer Miscellaneous Every Sunday 9:00am — 9:15am (05/03/09 — 04/04/10) This is a prayer meeting each Sunday morning to pray for the day's service and the ministries of the church. It is open to anyone who would like to attend. Sunday School Christian Ed. Every Sunday 9:30am — 10:15am (01/10/10 — 04/04/10) Sunday School is for children ages two to twelfth grade, and begins at 9:30 am. We use the "Show Me Jesus" curriculum by Great Commission Publications, the publishing arm of the PCA. Our goal for this ministry is to partner with the training up of children, and our curriculum helps us do that by providing a take home page for each child each week. That page includes the story, memory verse, catechism question, and follow-up material for the week's lesson. Adult Learning Communities Christian Ed. Every Sunday 9:30am — 10:15am (03/07/10 — 04/04/10) The purpose of our Adult Learning Communities is to assist our congregation in their spiritual walk through systematic bible study, both from the bible and through the study of books by respected Christian authors. Any adult may attend any class. Each class is designed to include a short time of fellowship. Praying Hearts Busy Hands WIC 03/29/10 10:00am — 11:30am The "Praying Hearts, Busy Hands" ministry invites all women of our church and community to participate in a monthly gathering to become better acquainted with each other while working on crafts, such as knitting, crocheting, beading, etc. We hope it will evolve into a group who will share ideas, new craft items, and even teach those who would like to learn a craft. Compassionate Care Support Group Miscellaneous Every second Monday of the month 7:00pm — 8:00pm (09/14/09 — 07/12/10) A compassionate care group to assist, with God's grace, people who are suffering and grieving the death of a spouse, child, parent, or other loved one will meet on the second Monday of each month and is open to the community. Ladies' Time of Prayer WIC Every third Monday of the month 4:00pm — 5:00pm (07/20/09 — 07/19/10) LOPC women are invited to meet together the third Monday of each month in rooms 108 at 4:00pm for a time of prayer. Our purpose is to pray God's Word; to use Scripture to pray for the Kingdom of God on Earth and the Body of Christ. Praying aloud is not required.
