COMMUNITY BIBLE STUDY

The Community Bible Study is a nationwide interdenominational Bible study that is being hosted at Lake Oconee Presbyterian Church for the lake area. It includes women of all ages, of varying backgrounds and with all depths of Bible knowledge.

The Bible study meets each Thursday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. for 30 weeks beginning September 3rd and ending on April 28th. The study this session will be "When Faith Meets Truth." It will include the books of James, Philemon, 1st, 2nd and 3rd John, Jude, Job and 1st & 2nd Thessalonians.

There is an excellent children’s ministry from for infants through grade school.

The Teaching Director is Lynn Bowers; the Associate Teaching Director is June Johnson, the Class Coordinator is Debbie Kammerer.

On April 30, 2015 CBS ended with a "Sharing Day" which celebrated CBS's 40 years of bible study.
