This book club meets on certain Fridays at 10:30 a.m. in LOPC Room 110. The next meeting will be on February 15th.

The book that will be discussed is the second book in the Hugh de Joinville series by Mel Starr. It is a mystery set in 1365 in England. The setting is late Middle Ages, at a time when John Wycliffe was teaching and working on his translation of the New Testament into English. In March we will have a salad luncheon at the home of Mary Ann Johnson at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 15, to talk about books, books, books. On Friday, April 26, we will be reading A Man Called Peter by Catherine Marshall in honor of the book being re-issued this January.

All women are invited to join us and guests are welcome. You do not have to read the book to attend. We read and eat good books and the Best Book!
