Women's Ministry Conference

There was a conference at First Presbyterian Church in Macon in March with keynote speaker Barbara Duguid, author of Extravagant Grace: God's Glory Displayed in our Weakness.

Women's Ministry Training

The PCA Women’s Ministry Training took place in March 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church in Macon.
Seven ladies from LOPC attended and were inspired by keynote speaker Lisa Hellier whose message focused on the role of women in the church and why we need a women’s ministry. Some questions posed were:

What does God say about woman?
What is a woman's role in the church?
Why do you need a Women's Ministry?
Who should it minister to?

Some fun activities included using marshmallows and toothpicks to create a visual of the church’s mission. Ladies shared ideas on how to create community and attract women in all walks of life. Most beneficial was the sharing of ideas and the fellowship enjoyed by each lady attending this Central Georgia Presbytery Women's Ministry training session.
