The Women's Ministry of the PCA (Presbyterian Church in America) have an annual meeting each year for the Central Georgia Presbytery. The meeting is open to all women who are members of our Central GA Presbyterian churches.

On the bright and early Saturday morning of January 21st eight women met at Lake Oconee Presbyterian Church at 7:30 am to make the journey to First Presbyterian Church in Macon. The band of ladies consisted of Emma Anderson, Rachel Bellefeuille, Susan Porter, Miranda Boughner, Teresa Parker, Linda Witchousky, Janelle Edwards and Susie Patterson.

The day began with a little rain and a little fog, but the travel conversation was filled with laughter and praise. We were later met by Ginger Clark, who greeted us and saved us special seats in the front of the room. This proved to be the optimal spot since LOPC hailed the highest number of attendees in 2 consecutive years from the Central Georgia Presbytery. After a light breakfast and coffee, we prepared for worship in song and presentation by two ladies who serve in PCA missions in various capacities. We met Loren Rae Grace of Hope Foster Care in Macon, and Robin Leibovich who presented her testimony and a report on the mission "Glory of Africa" which supports the ladies of Kenya. We then we honored to take part in the installation and charge to officers of the Women's Ministry council at Presbytery level. The members installed were Phebe Settles-Treasurer, Ester Marie Lawrence-President, Margaret Baker-Secretary, Jane Bowman-Advisor, Elizabeth Brennen-Christian Growth, and Diane Elliott-Missions.

After the meeting, we enjoyed a delicious lunch and fellowship with many ladies of the Central Georgia Presbytery. We also toured the lovely 1900 church and sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church, Macon on 682 Mulberry Street, Macon GA.
