A Celebration of Lessons and Carols The Music and Worship ministry of Lake Oconee Presbyterian Church invites you to mark your calendar and plan to attend our Worship Celebration on Sunday, December 18, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. The tradition of Lessons and Carols dates back to 19th Century England, and has been practiced by Christian churches ever since. Our celebration will include scripture readings, our Celebration Choir, Handbell Choir, and of course favorite Christmas Carols that focus on Christ and his birth. No tickets are necessary, and childcare is provided. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and a dessert reception will follow. We will also have a Christmas Eve Service on Saturday, December 24th at 7:00 p.m. Child care will be provided at both services. |
